Rance Duane Haller (Randy), age 68 passed away on September 10, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a hardworking family man and loyal employee to MSCI.
Randy was born in Woodward, Oklahoma, on December 27, 1956 to Jim and Marlene Haller. Who later moved to Tucumcari with Broce Construction. Randy graduated from Tucumcari High School. After he graduated, he became a cook at two different restaurants, and then a butcher at 3rd Street Grocery. In 1978 he started working for Broce Construction as a Hot Plant Oiler, and later that year married his wife, Janet. In 1980 Broce Construction merged and became Mountain State Constructors, Randy and Janet followed the work around the state, eventually making their home in Edgewood, New Mexico. He continued to work for MSCI for the over 40 years, eventually working his way up to Superintendent of three plants completing jobs all over the state.
Randy has enjoyed his daughters and grandchildren. His love of cooking led to a hobby of being a back yard pit master. Randy will be remembered for his sense of humor, and hard work.
He is survived by Janet Haller his wife of 47 years, children Mandy Caraway (Shane Caraway-of Albert City, Iowa), Jodi Constable (Sean Constable – of Grady, New Mexico), and grandchildren Taber Dodge Caraway, Jess William Constable, and Emmi Raylynn Constable, his mother Marlene Haller and his brother James Dwight Haller of Tucumcari. Randy is preceded in death by his father James (Jim)Edwin Haller, and bother Ronald Chris Haller.
The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tucumcari Memorial Park located at 4161 Cemetery Road, I-40 Exit 331 North of old 66.
