Onecimo Epimeno Martinez Jr, 63, a lifetime resident of Moriarty, NM passed away on July 27, 2026 in Albuquerque, NM. Onecimo was born Sept. 4, 1962 to Onecimo & LaZarita (Quinonez) Martinez Sr. in Albuquerque, NM. He attended and graduated from Moriarty High School in 1980. Onecimo spent his life as a master carpenter , building million dollar homes all through out the East Mountains including Cedar Crest and Sandia Park.

Onecimo is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Janette Martinez and one brother Johnny Dale Martinez. He is survived by one daughter Bianca Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; three sons Gabriel Martinez, Brian Baca, and Josh Baca all three of Moriarty, NM; two Brothers David Martinez, of Albuquerque, and Luciano Doninguez and his wife Chandra of Edgewood, NM; five sisters, JoAnn Martinez and her husband David of Moriarty, NM, Sarita Agrirre and her husband Joe of Moriarty, NM Valerie Sylva and her husband Carlos, of Moriarty, NM, Eilane Martinez and her husband Ralph of Moriarty, NM and Becky Maribal of Albuquerque, NM; 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Viewing and Memorial service was held Tuesday August 18, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM
