Michelle Ann Gutierrez

Michelle Ann Gutierrez, 70, Better known to everyone as “Miki”, a longtime resident of Moriarty, NM passed away August 12, 2026 in Albuquerque, NM. Miki was born March 6, 1956 in Cambridge, OH to James Louis & Mary Esther (Hicks) Vance. She married Alejandro Gutierrez on February 8, 1995, in Riverside CA.

Before moving to Moriarty, Miki was a hardworking woman in banking. She enjoyed spending her weekends with her husband, kids, family members and many close friends. Whether she was working in the yard, watering her plants, coloring, or enjoying family time at a backyard BBQ, Miki was always one to hum quietly to herself and many will remember her for that. Miki was beautiful, intelligent, witty and always fun. She enjoyed travelling with her husband. Miki will forever be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and beautiful friend to all that knew and loved her.

Miki is preceded in death by her parents. Miki is survived by her husband Alejandro Gutierrez, of Moriarty, NM; One son Joe Ford; one daughter, Trisia Price; two brothers Chris Vance and Jim Vance; two sisters, Tessie Vance and Mary Ella Lambert, and three grandchildren Melissa Price, Evelyn Ford, and Bradley Tapia.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
