Joshua Nathanial Beck, 44, of Edgewood, New Mexico, left this world to be with Jesus on October 7, 2026. Joshua was born on July 3, 1982 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Anthony Beck and Patricia Beck and was raised in Edgewood. He was a graduate of the Santa Fe Community College and was accepted into the New York Film Academy at Universal Studios in Burbank, California where he studied film making.

In his short life he was a writer, artist, film director, and a world traveler. Josh loved studying history and collecting rare comic books, muscle cars, and riding motorcycles. People that knew Josh saw him as a gentle giant of a man. He was a follower of his faith in Christ and as such now has entered into the kingdom of heaven for his greatest adventure yet. He will be missed until we see him again. Josh is survived by his mother, Patricia von Roemer, Father Anthony Beck, his sister Faith Starkweather (Sean Starweather), and his niece Lexie Starkweather.

A graveside memorial will be held on October 24, 2006 at 10:30 am at the Mountain Valley Cemetery, 41 Barton Road, Edgewood, NM 87015.
