Ganz Gabriel Voorhees

Ganz Gabriel Voorhees, beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, musician, artist, and friend, passed away on May 16th, 2026 at the age of 25. He was born on October 26th, 2000 in Duluth,MN.

Ganz was a man of faith who loved the Lord wholeheartedly and found great joy in studying and memorizing Scripture. He had a special gift for hiding God’s Word in his heart and could memorize entire Psalms in a remarkably short amount of time. His love for Scripture was evident and often recited psalms to his parents and others.

He had a passion for the outdoors and especially enjoyed riding his bike and hiking, finding peace and beauty in nature. He was also a gifted musician who loved playing his acoustic guitar, bringing comfort and joy to family and friends through music.

Creativity flowed through every part of his life. He loved cooking and enjoyed creating culinary dishes to share with others. He also enjoyed painting and expressing himself through art. Whether through music, food, the outdoors or painting, he had a special way of making people feel welcomed and cared for.

Ganz was known for his charm, warmth, and kind spirit whenever he visited with family and friends. He deeply loved his family, especially his nieces and nephew, who brought him great happiness.

He will be remembered for his faith, creativity, gentle heart, and the love he shared. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that those whose hope is in Jesus Christ will see him again someday in heaven. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 10am at Crossroads Bible Fellowship in Edgewood, NM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Teen Challenge in Tijeras, NM in his honor.
