David Hilario Torres

David (Larry) Torres, 76, a resident of Manzano, New Mexico, passed away on January 1, 2023. David was born August 6th, 1946, in Flagstaff, Arizona. David is survived by his children, Sandra Moya, Jennifer Torres and Stepdaughter, Susan Gromatski; six grandchildren, Samuel, Michael, Carmelina, Gianna, Ryne and Larissa; he also had five great-grandchildren. David is also survived by his sister Marcella Chavez of Belen, NM; he is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. David was also fortunate to have very close friends who offered support and a helping hand. David was preceded in death by his parents, Felicita and Alex Torres, his brother Dennis Torres and his nephew, Marcos Torres. In life David was a construction worker and a very talented wood craftsman, he made beautiful furniture and many other wooden pieces. David also served is country as a member of the National Guard. Services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Manzano, New Mexico on January 14, 2023: Rosary at 1:00pm and Mass at 1:30pm. Interment will be, at a later date. Pallbearers will be Carmelina Moya and Gianna Moya, Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Lopez, Marcos Romero, and Vicente Alderette.
