Charles Ray Elliott

Charles Ray Elliott, 69, of Moriarty passed December 9, 2025. He was born May 14,1956 in Santa Fe, NM to the late Wayne and Trelma (Barbee) Elliott. Charles 'Charlie' was a graduate of Moriarty High School in 1974. He was a lifelong resident of the Estancia Valley. Charles learned farming from his father, Wayne. He understood what crops were suited to the area. Charlie farmed on his own and also for King Brothers Farm. He was a skilled equipment operator of both farm and heavy equipment. Charlie loved to hunt and fish. With his knowledge of plants he grew beautiful gardens sharing the produce with friends and neighbors. He was well liked because of his bright personality. Charles came to faith in Jesus Christ the Savior. He loved to read God's word. Charles is survived by his 4 children, son Zachary Elliott and wife Chelsea, daughter Lindsay and husband Kane Rowell, Zachary and Lindsay's mother Diana Elliott, his twins Alexander and Elizabeth Pain and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his 3 brothers,1 sister; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Clifton.

A memorial for Charles will be held Saturday December 20th. at 2:00 Moriarty Church of Christ.
