Cathy Ann Corine Guerra

It is with deep sadness and much love; We Mourn the peaceful passing of Cathy Ann-Corine Guerra. She was born May 18th, 1966, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She passed away peacefully at home with her family and pets at the age of 57 on August 21, 2023. She was a mother, Grandmother, Sister, Daughter, Niece, Aunt, Friend. She was also a widow. She was survived by her children April Guerra-Saenz and David Guerra, Grandchildren Drago, Draven, Syrus, Mireya, Wenzdaye, Vanellope, Horacio and several other relatives. Cathy Ann-Corine Guerra is/was/ and will always be a loving, caring, and feisty soul. She had a great sense of humor (Dark Humor), the BEST cook, a person you could talk to about anything. She would light up any room she walked into. A contagious cheeky mischievous smile with big banana eyes and long beautiful hair. She had a generous heart with those she loved. She was diagnosed w/ type 2 diabetes in 2010 which unfortunately led to multiple organ failure. She fought a good fight for a long time with such grace. Cathy was the best mom anyone could ask for. The best wife to the man that loved her so much. The best Nana to all her spoiled grandchildren. She helped anyone who needed help. She had a tough life, but she was a tough cookie. We were all lucky to have her in our lives and to have known such a genuine person. She will truly be missed.
