Carolann Theresa (Ciccone) McNeil passed away at home on July 13th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Carolann was born on December 13, 1956, in Trenton, New Jersey , to John Ciccone and Nancy Clemente. Carolann grew up in Riverside, New Jersey alongside her mom, brother, and two sisters. Carolann graduated from Riverside High School in 1974. On June 24, 1982, Carolann married Melvin McNeil Jr. in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was happily married for 42 years. Carolann wasn’t just a wife and a mother, she was a leader for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girls Scouts, worked Civil Service for Social Security and the DOD, a Tax Preparer and Manager for H&R Block, and she was an award-winning photographer. She also served in the church, served in the Republican Party of Torrance County New Mexico as the Secretary Treasurer. Carolann was a Graphic Designer for the Republican Party, Boy Scouts, the church and did side projects for other people. Carolann also served as a New Mexico Court Appointed Special Advocate (C.A.S.A.) for children. Carolann graduated from Trident Technical College, Charleston, South Carolina with an Associate Degree in Industrial Tech – Graphic Design. She also graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. Carolann loved to cook, especially for the holidays, and made the most amazing Italian dishes for family and friends. Carolann loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart.
Carolann is survived by her husband, Melvin McNeil Jr; her children, Peter McNeil, Stephanie McNeil, Christopher McNeil, Jennifer Broughton (Shane), and Jonathan McNeil (Amelyn); her stepchildren, Veronica Houston, Scott McNeil, James McNeil (Cheryl), Melissa Eisenhart (Ken), Heidi McNeil, and Heather Simmons (William); her sister, Mary Groemm; her aunt, grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents John and Nancy Ciccone, her sister, Adelene Litton, and brother, John Ciccone. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on September 28, 2024, at the 1st Baptist Church in Moriarty, NM.
