Esequiel Salasar Mares

ESEQUIEL SALASAR MARES, 92, of Corona, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Esequiel was born March 23, 1922 in Corona, NM to Crescenciano and Brigida (Salasar) Mares. He married his loving wife of 58 years, Eusabia Madrid, on February 11, 1956. Together they had and raised five sons and two daughters. Esequiel was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Eusabia Mares of Corona; sons Michael Mares of Corona, Esequiel Mares of Albuquerque, Ralph Mares of Albuquerque, Thomas Mares of Albuquerque, and John Mares of Corona; sisters Gertrude Mares Acosta and Francisco of Clovis and Brigida Chavez and Clarence or Rio Rancho; and five grandchildren.
