Emilia Barela

EMILIA BARELA, 49, of Estancia, NM passed away suddenly in a car accident on Friday, November 1, 2013. Emilia was born March 8, 1964 to Fedel and Frances Barela of Tajique, NM. Emilia was a corrections officer for CCA. She was a longtime resident of Estancia. Emilia has joined her father Fidel and her brother Romulo Barela with the Lord. She is survived by her mother Frances Barela of Estancia; son Darren Barela of Estancia; brothers Dimas and Caroline Barela and Adam and Norah Barela of Edgewood; and sister Antoinette Barela of Albuquerque. Emilia was a proud auntie to seven nieces and nephews, Angeline, Sierra, Monique, Dominic, Felisha, Andres, and Leon. There will be a Rosary at 9:30a.m. with Mass and burial following at San Antonio Catholic Church in Tajique, NM on Friday, November 15, 2013.
